Drop-Off & Pick-up
Please review the following morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up guidelines. Adhering to these tips ensures a safe, efficient process for all students, drivers, and pedestrians.
| | | | | Drop-Off Window: 7:55–8:10 a.m. (Before Care is available for a $5/day fee from 7:30–7:55 a.m.).
| Classes begin at 8:30 am. Students are tardy at 8:29 am. Families arriving after 8:29 am will need to park and enter the school through the Front Office.
| Placard: Please have your BLUE placard ready. Placards will be given at orientation.
| Pull All the Way Up: Fill all available space to avoid backing up traffic on Bell Road. If traffic is backing up, please do not block resident driveways on Bell Rd and New Haw Creek Rd.
| Display Your Blue Placard: Place your placard on your dashboard so staff can enter your number into the car-line app. Keep it displayed until all students are safely in the car, then remove it so staff knows you are ready to pull away.
| Stay in the Car: Let our staff assist students. If your child needs extra time or help, please park in the gravel lot or near Picnic Island (do not park next to the gym).
| No Placard? Bring ID: Anyone picking up without a placard, including parents, must present a photo ID at the front desk to be verified against the pick-up list. (Note: If your preferred name differs from your legal ID, please make sure both names are on file with us.)
| Unload Right Side Only: Students should exit on the passenger side. Unassisted exits on the left must strictly use the center sidewalk and crosswalk.
| Early Dismissal Deadlines: Early sign-outs end promptly at 2:30 p.m. (and 1:00 p.m. on Mondays). Please plan afternoon appointments accordingly
| Prep Ahead: Have bags packed and goodbyes said before reaching the unloading zone!
| | Safety First: Follow traffic team directions and always use designated crosswalks.
