The Evergreen Annual Fund

As a tuition-free public school, government funding per student is significantly less than traditional public schools, and we receive zero funding for capital improvements.

The Evergreen Fund bridges the funding gap; It heats our school during the winter, provides counseling services for our students, staffs our classrooms with teachers, and funds educational programming. The Evergreen Fund belongs to all of us. Grounded in the principles of Community-Centric Fundraising, we measure our success not just by the dollars raised, but by the strength of the community standing behind our students.

    Many employers will match your donation! Please contact your Human Resources Department or equivalent. Some businesses don’t have a formal policy but are eager to support the causes valued by their employees.

  • Donor Advised Funds

    A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a tax-smart way to support those causes you love, now and into the future. By recommending a gift to Evergreen Community Charter School through your DAF, you can help support North Carolina public education.

    Qualified Charitable Distributions

    QCDs allow donors age 70 ½ or older to donate up to $108,000 from their IRA as an individual or $216,000 as a couple in 2025 without having to recognize the distribution as income.
