Enrollment Information

Evergreen Community Charter School is a K-8, tuition-free, public charter school whose admission is based on a lottery system.

In an effort to increase diversity in Evergreen’s student body, children who have economic disadvantages are offered enrollment priority. Income guidelines to qualify for this priority are included below. Evergreen’s Board of Directors will determine the number of open seats per grade level to be reserved in the next lottery for students whose families are economically disadvantaged.

What documentation is needed to illustrate economic disadvantage?

Please provide one of the following:

• Active SNAP (EBT card)

• Notice from HACA indicating Housing Authority resident or on the waiting list

• Work First, North Carolina’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program participation verification

• Paycheck stubs and any other income verification from the past six months AND recent federal tax return
