Libby is a recent UNCA graduate and is eager to continue her career in education at Evergreen. Libby grew up in the countryside of Topeka, Kansas, where she learned to tune in to what nature has to teach us. She moved to Asheville to work at a summer camp she attended for years as a child, then embarked on a decade-long career as a glassblower. She's excited to share her passion for inquiry-based learning and the natural world with her students. Libby enjoys hiking with her husband and daughter, cooking, gardening with native plants, and dabbling in ecological restoration.
