Deidre is a proud Appalachian, quintessential cat lady, tree-hugger, bookworm & sci-fi geek. A long-time educator in Asheville, Deidre is honored to be one of ECCS's founding teachers. Her son, now an adult and artist in Asheville, graduated as an Everlaster. She is a passionate advocate for all children's safety, health, and education. She and her partner live in Leicester, surrounded by their 6 feline furbabies, caring for a feral cat colony and a huge flower garden.
