Bonnie grew up in New Jersey and Greensboro, NC, before attending Appalachian State University, where she earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Community Counseling. She moved to Asheville in 2000, where she opened The Little Gym and operated it for 10 years. In her free time, Bonnie enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, and soccer-mom-ing.
