Annie Mast

Annie received a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy/Psychology from Queen's University of Charlotte and a Master’s in Education/Counseling from Western Carolina University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and is licensed in NC as a School Counselor and Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Prior to joining Evergreen, Annie worked as a Music Therapist and Creative Expressive Arts Therapist for nearly 10 years, and loves to integrate those modalities into her school programming. She has provided therapy and counseling services to children, adults, and families since 2007 in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, private practice, resource centers for differently abled individuals, and both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and substance use recovery facilities. When not supporting our students in school, Annie enjoys attending music festivals, getting outdoors, and simply sitting on a sunny porch. You can also find her singing, strumming, and fiddling with current & former Evergreen staff in their band, Pearl Street, at local area farmers’ markets April-October.
