Field Day is a Fun End of Year Tradition started by Student Council last Year!

Field Day will be held on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 10th from 9:00-1:00. Last year’s Student Council laid a solid foundation and this year’s group has made it even better! Please find important details below:

  • Volunteers Needed: We can’t make this happen without station leaders! Please review volunteer options/sign-up for a station HERE.

  • Another way to contribute is to purchase mini donuts for your child’s class for the Fishing for Donuts station at Field Day. Please sign-up HERE

  • What to Wear/Pack:

    • Apply sunscreen that morning

    • Water Bottle + Snack

    • Students can choose how wet they want to get at the water station, so some students may want to wear a bathing suit under their clothes/wear quick dry clothing/bring a towel and/or bring a change of clothes.

Annual Fund Report - Good News and Gratitude

We are SO CLOSE to meeting Evergreen’s Annual Fund Goal!

Only $4,100 left to go!!

Thank you to everyone who has given or shared the Fund this year. Thank you to everyone who set up new, increased, or maintained their recurring donations!

We did the math for the balance needed and if every family gave $20 today, we’d hit that budgeted goal!

Give today before we all get caught up in the graduation/Moving Up whirlwind! www.givebutter.com/evergreenvillage

Let’s finish this group project that we all started together, the group project that is the 2025-2026 school year!

We all have a lot to be proud of this year. Maintaining normalcy for our students while many of us are still getting grounded after last year’s event is no small feat. I hope that as you celebrate moving up and graduation ceremonies this year you are also taking time to celebrate yourselves, your families, and the various villages (including the village you’ve found here) that have helped see you through.

Let Them Know You’re Proud & help support the School!

You can also help make a dent in that $6K we still need to raise and get something (besides a wholistically educated amazing kiddo) in return!

Buy a Graduation/Moving Up Card from our fundraiser and we will be put 100% of the proceeds toward the Annual Fund!

Purchase Deadline: June 1

New designs this year, plus the Quotation Cards come with a brief bio of their author on the back of the card!

Cards are sold by donation on a Sliding Scale, with a suggested donation of $5-20/card.

After you’ve selected your card/s you will have the opportunity to personalize the card with your own message. Your message will be hand written inside and delivered to classrooms!

This is a great fundraiser to share with extended family as a way for them to be involved in your student’s milestones, even from afar!

Interested in playing on an Evergreen Volleyball team next Fall?

We are inviting all rising 7th and 8th grade students (i.e., current 6th and 7th graders) to come to gym

Tuesday, June 2, 6:00 - 7:00pm

Join us for an informal knockaround and pickup game. We hope to parlay that interest into a volleyball team to compete against other schools next Fall. Interscholastic Volleyball seasons typically start when school does, or even before, so we need to know who is interested now! With other volleyball opportunities popping up around the area, this is also a chance for those completely new to the sport to connect with families that have a little more experience in this fast-growing sport.

Questions? Reach out to James with EverAfter.

Summertime Preparations

Summertime is just around the corner and we think it’s safe to say that we’re all feeling the excitement AND the exhaustion of this final push to the finish line! As we wrap up another unique year of learning, it’s time to consider how to set your students up for a summer that provides plenty of fun, relaxation, and freedom while also preserving their hard-earned academic, social-emotional, and cognitive growth this year.

Summer schedules will understandably differ from school-day routines, but finding a healthy balance between the two is crucial for sustaining the academic growth your child(ren) made this year, as well as help maintain social-emotional development gains and reinforce behavioral expectations across environments. Additionally, creating a summer routine that incorporates a few key structures from your school day schedule will help set your family up for a smooth transition back to school when summer comes to a close. The magic formula for that balance is not “one-size-fits-all,” so it will be important to create a realistic routine that makes sense for your family’s unique needs.

This week we are sharing some quick read articles that we hope will spark some thoughtfulness and inspiration for what a meaningful, entertaining, and successful summer routine looks like for your family.
