I’m an Asheville native and come from a family of educators. I was a lead teacher in Kindergarten for one year then, first grade for 7 years. I was a stay at home mom for 5 1⁄2 years. Most recently I was a 3rd grade assistant teacher for 3 years and then a Kindergarten interim teacher. I have a husband and 2 boys who will attend Evergreen and a dog. I like reading, hiking, swimming, playing outside, and spending time with family. Education is my passion and I’m glad to be a part of the Evergreen family!
