James Wilson

James has been working at Evergreen since 2008, and is currently the director of both EverAfter and Evergreen Summer Adventures. He has been living in Asheville since starting at UNCA in 2001, where he earned a BA in Psychology and a K-6 teaching license. Before running programs at Evergreen, he spent several years as a reading teacher.

He lives with his wife Katie, and two children Caleb and Daniel, who are both Evergreen students. Outside of school, the family enjoys the mountains, the beach, and is so heavily involved in local youth and adult soccer that they pretty much live at the local John B. Lewis soccer complex.
