Sally Boerschig

she/her/hers

Sally has worked at Evergreen since 2012, but has been involved as a parent at Evergreen since 2006. Sally has a B.A. in Russian and International Development and an M.S. in Environmental Education. She has taught in many settings including teaching English in Taiwan, teacher training in Russia and working with a non-profit in Durham, NC where she worked with school and community groups. While raising her two children, she took a hiatus from the formal working world and volunteered in the community and in their schools. Sally enjoys reading, playing tennis, paddleboarding, gardening, hiking, board games, arts and crafts, mountain bike riding, and visiting her adult children wherever they may be! Evergreen has been such a special place for her family to grow and learn and she is thrilled to work with second graders to grow their curiosity and love of learning; and to help them develop into outstanding caretakers of our Earth.
