*Around the World

Explore nature and feel inspired! Each day we will explore our surrounding envrionment in a different way, with the purpose of discovering more about who we are and how we are connected to the natural world. We will walk, discover, talk about what we are experiencing, and then CREATE! We will deepen these experiences with poetry and literature inspired by nature and field trips to places such as Botanical Gardens, Warren Wilson, and WNC Nature Center. The week will culminate with a project that each student can leave with - a chapbook, collage, or photo gallery that reflects their experience exploring and connecting with the natural world.
