Stuart MilesMiddle School Science TeacherStuart hails from Greenwood, South Carolina. Stuart has a B.S. in Geology from the College of Charleston and is currently in the process of completing his M.S. in Science Education for Montana State University. He has taught 8th grade science in the classroom for two years in Arkansas through the Teach for America program, as well as several years in outdoor education in both California and Ohio. Stuart is currently in the process of completing his environmental education certification. Stuart hiked the length of the Appalachian Trail in 2005. In his free time, Stuart enjoys hiking the Southern Appalachians, strolling through West Asheville, and driving the roads of the U.S.A. He also enjoys board games and reading American short stories, from Hemingway to Chaom. He loves science and loves Evergreen students. website: Stuart's Science World |
