Middle School Math Enrichment, MAP Assessment, and Yearbook

I was born and grew up in San Diego, where I earned my master’s in educational technology and worked for twelve years as a middle school science and computer teacher, college instructional media instructor, technology integration consultant, and sheriff’s search and rescue instructor. I moved to Asheville with my wife and dog in the summer of 2005, and we’re all eagerly exploring our new home in the mountains. Actually, exploring is may passion, in all respects of the word. I have traveled independently across six continents and have hiked extensively throughout the western U.S. and Canada . I'm also an avid reader of a wide range of subjects, especially the natural and social sciences. I am drawn to education because I love learning about the world and its inhabitants, as well as sharing my knowledge and experiences with others in meaningful ways. I strongly believe in the unique vision that Evergreen is based on and feel honored to be working with such a dedicated and caring staff.
