Greg Cain

3rd through 5th Grade Special Services Resource

Greg graduated from Knox College with a B.A. in Educational Studies & Political Science (he is licensed to teach middle school social studies and high school history and political science), then pursued his certification in Learning Disabilities from Western Carolina University.  In addition, he has been trained in the Orton Gillingham methodology, a multisensory approach to reading, writing, and spelling.  Prior to coming to Evergreen in 2005, Greg had been in alternative education (Eckerd Youth Camp and Bright Angel Academy in the Grand Canyon) for nine years as a resource teacher, reading specialist, and as a teacher of all subjects in a self-contained high school class.
