Marimba!  for any student in Grades 6 – 8.
 
Do you love drums and percussion?  Then the marimba program may be just right for you!  Meet Sue Ford in front of the gym – no need to sign up. ).  Students are welcome to join Level I class at any time.
 
Mondays– 1:30 – 2:30 AND Fridays – 3:30 – 4:30 - Classes begin August 27th.
 
The beginning Level I Class is a prerequisite class and regular attendance is required before auditioning for Evergreen’s EMBE Marimba Band (which performs in the community and has recorded four professional quality CDs.
 


Instrument Ensembles  for any student in any grade.
 
Do you play an instrument? Would you enjoy playing with other musicians?  We currently have a Suzuki Violin group and are looking to form other groups – jam bands, recorder ensembles, etc.  Contact Sue Ford if you are interested.  828-776-7918
Groups will meet on Tuesday afternoons.

Chorus!  for any member of the Evergreen Community – students younger than 9 must be accompanied by a parent or other adult.  Do you love to sing? Please come and sing with the Evergreen Community Chorus.  We will sing for the love of singing and perform too at various events at Evergreen as well as in the community. A goal for this year is to perform more in the community and make a recording!
 
Thursdays – 4:45 – 6:00 in the music room.
 
There is no charge for these programs but we will need all involved to help raise money in order to keep the programs running.
