Donating To Evergreen

Evergreen and other charter schools receive funds from the state for each student that attends; however unlike public schools, they receive no financial support for buildings or grounds. The North Carolina Charter School Law prohibits charter schools from receiving state funds for capital expenses and now, the same schools have been excluded from receiving the much needed funds from the North Carolina Education Lottery. Evergreen depends upon the generosity of parents, grandparents, corporations, foundations and community members to help compensate for this gap in funding.
