Special Services Coordinator

This is my 7th year at Evergreen, and I know that I found the job that fits me best.   I’ve been in special education since I was 16, when I worked at a summer camp for kids and adults with special needs.  Since then I have worked with all ages of persons with special needs, in different kinds of settings.   I have lived in Asheville for 23 years, and raised three wonderful children, two college graduates and one still attending.  When I’m not at Evergreen, I like to work in my yard and garden, exercise, cook, and read.  I’m involved in several different community organizations, and enjoy volunteering for them. I love working at Evergreen, where we work hard to make each child feel that they are part of our family.
