Bridgit McCarthy

Lead Teacher, Seventh and Eighth Grade Language Arts

Bridgit has a degree in middle grades education with concentration in language arts and social studies from Kennesaw State College.  She has been teaching 7th and 8th graders in Georgia and Florida for the past eight years.  Bridgit loves to read and considers herself a specialist in adolescent literature and the teaching of writing. Bridgit has worked on interdisciplinary teams and enjoys integrating history and drama into her language arts classes.  Her colleagues and supervisors say that Bridgit sincerely enjoys being in the company of students and they love her.  She has high expectations and “creates a culture of openness, fairness, and mutual respect in her classroom.”
